Infrared Building Science Training Course
Available Courses |
The Infrared Building Science Training Course is geared to new infrared camera users or practicing thermographers wanting focused training on commercial and residential building inspection. The Building Science Course discusses how infrared thermography is used to monitor and diagnose the condition of buildings. This three and a half day-course covers the basics of building sciences including building design and construction, air control, heating and cooling, moisture control, energy use, and electrical problems. Learn how to recognize and document thermal patterns associated with traditional building problems. The Building Sciences Course includes details on moisture detection and verification, water damage, and drying methods. How to perform building inspections, prepare reports, and interpret thermographic results are discussed in light of infrared camera equipment needed, safety, and efficiency. Tips on marketing and selling your infrared inspection services are also covered.
