We provide customized training to organizations who need to understand more about how to use our equipment and procedures to locate moisture.

The content of these programs depends on each customers particular perspective and therefore their specific needs. But some examples include:

  • Finding Moisture with Infrared Cameras
    One (1) hour
This very brief module is ideal for after-dinner or lunch-and-learn sessions of professional organizations, or as an introductory module which serves as part of a larger training program on a related topic.
  • Introduction to Infrared Theory and Moisture Detection
    Three (3) hours
This all-morning seminar provides an overview of the basics, including infrared light radiation and reflection, types of cameras, typical moisture behavior in building assemblies and strengths and weaknesses of the infrared moisture detection technique.
  • Infrared Moisture Detection - Application Case Histories
    Three (3) hours
This intermediate level module can stand alone, but is usually combined with the introductory module to form an all-day program. Attendees must all have a basic understanding of infrared energy and how temperature differences can arise in buildings and building materials. The module is ideal for experienced thermographers who understand all the infrared basics, but who now wish to build on that foundation to understand how infrared inspection techniques apply to moisture detection.

Beyond these basic modules, we can produce customized training programs for attorneys, insurance adjustors, architects, construction managers, forensic engineers and construction technicians. The costs for developing customized training programs vary widely, depending on their extent and the amount of new material required. Very few custom training programs will cost more than $15,000, and none are less than $5,000.

Contact us so we can discuss what you need. Emails are a good start, but at least one extensive telephone phone conversation will be necessary before we can develop a quotation. After that discussion, we'll provide a not-to-exceed cost estimate for assembling the material and presenting it, based the cost of our development time, which is charged at $150/hr.
