If your certification expires before January 1, 2007, then complete one of the requirements listed below. If your certification expires after January 1, 2007 then complete any two of the following requirements (two of the same requirement are allowed if you wish). All infrared thermography recertifications are valid for 5 years.

Open a recertification form (for two year certification holders only).

Open a recertification form (for five year certification holders).

• Write a published infrared technical paper at a thermography conference. Submit a copy of the article with the infrared recertification form and a fee of $145*.
• Write an infrared article published in a technical trade journal or industry magazine. Submit a copy of the article with the infrared recertification form and a fee of $145*.
• Attend a total of 5 half-day (2.5 days total) sessions at a thermography conference (like InfraMation) or ITC application course. Submit proof of attendance at all morning and afternoon sessions with the infrared recertification form and a fee of $145*.

* Attendees and authors at the ITC InfraMation thermography conference or students at an ITC infrared application course are exempt from the infrared thermography recertification fee.
